- Helen Davies Added December 30, 2017★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Asked for a quote for a pipe to be installed in our garden, was told the work would cost $3000. Decided to get a quote elsewhere & was told by another company the work would cost $600. We chose the cheaper option. Contacted Bay City Plumbing that we were going with a cheaper quote and were told that we would be charged $88 for not going ahead with their quote. At no point when booking the quote or when the plumber came out to give the quote were we told that we would be charged a fee for not going ahead with any work quoted for. Would never ask them again to quote or do work for us.
