John Pain, the owner was fined by the QBCC for installing our floor without the proper licence.
Finally after a three year battle with the company, the courts and the QBCC, Touchwood Flooring, were finally told to refund our complete payment for the floor. However, we are stuck with a floor that is not level, has been laid against manufactures specifications and has been pronounced defective by the QBCC.
Touchwood flooring's customer service was non existent. The contractor lied about his licence, qualifications and his expertise. We wasted a great deal of money on this company. Please, don't do the same!
